GriefShare is a 13 week faith based grief support group. Designed for those who have experienced the death of a loved one, GriefShare can help individuals find healing and hope by sharing the journey of grief with others who have also experienced similar loss.

Each week this group will discuss the material found in the class videos, and the personal workbook. Classes are 90 minutes.

For more information about the group, please contact the Church Office (252-756-1245).

Loss of a Spouse

One Day Event

January 26, 2020

3-5 p.m.

Loss of a Spouse helps men and women grapple with the challenges of being widowed. The seminar features an inspiring 35-minute video that’s filled with moving stories, practical advice, and a variety of perspectives on spousal loss.

After the video, you’ll have the opportunity to discuss what you learned with other widows and widowers. You’ll discover that you’re not alone in your grief and what you’re going through is normal. Plus, you’ll receive a booklet to take home with over 30 short readings on how to rebuild your life.

Find encouragement, comfort, and hope. Make plans to attend the Loss of a Spouse event at Oakmont on January 26.
